Hard work is an essence found very rare in life.
But our TV industry has a list of actors who believe in the magic of hard work. They also give in all their efforts to do justice to their roles in various shows.
Now one name that has come up is the good looking Uday Singh Rajput, who is essaying the role of a star footballer in Colors Bangla’s upcoming serial “Tumi Ele Tai” (Raindrop Productions), is actually not that expert in this popular game of Bengal in real life.
Considering the backdrop of the serial which is football, we were in for a shock to know that he cannot play football in real life.
Sharing details on the same, Uday said, “The role is a challenge to me as I am not a footballer in real life. To look like a real footballer, I am honing the skills of this game by watching it on television and also by playing with my friends”.
Also the Rajput boy is polishing his skills in the Bengali language. “I can speak Bengali well as I was born here (Kolkata) and I have many Bengali friends with whom I converse in this language. Though sometimes I fumble while delivering my dialogues but I am sure over time I will be fluent. Moreover, our director is there to guide me,” smiled the actor.
So, is he doing anything special to be more effortless in this language? “I read the headlines of Bengali newspapers and also the hoardings whenever possible…it’s a lengthy process,” Uday added.
We must say that this is called true dedication.
Way to go young boy! Cheers!!!
