After Khalid Siddiqui and Nalini Negi, here comes another actor who is facing legal proceeding against him.
It is none other than Anuj Saxena.
The actor known for his role in Sony TV show Kkusum, has been charged of making fraud worth rupees 1.35 crores.
As per media reports, Anuj and his brother Alok, CEO of Elder Pharmaceuticals, tried to make a payment of rupees 1.35 crores through post dated cheques from a deactivated account.
The entire fraud activity came into light when the owner of MAK Ampoules Pvt Ltd and Ankola Paper Mills Pvt Ltd, a business associate of Elder Pharmaceuticals, filed a complaint against them.
The owner of MAK Ampoules Pvt Ltd and Ankola Paper Mills Pvt Ltd, Anil Agarwal, was quoted saying that as per the business arrangements, the Saxena brothers were supposed to renew their contract every three months at a yearly interest of 11.5%.
Till March this year, Saxena brothers paid him an amount of rupees 9.3 lakhs, but over rupees 25 lakhs were pending. Later on, the bank authorities informed Agarwal that the account from which the cheques had been issued was closed. Finally without having much option left, Agarwal appealed to the court and eventually as a part of legal proceedings filed a police complaint.
As per the reports, though Alok has been arrested, Anuj however is absconding and police is still in search for him.
Along with Alok and Anuj, two other big shot officials of the company were also arrested is what we have been informed.
