Sachin Mohite’s Jaasvand Entertainment has been relentlessly churning out many stunningly different episodic tales for Life OK’s Savdhan India.
Mohite who has a fifteen years experience in the television industry, recently took to his first passion of direction when he directed an intriguing story of Savdhan India.
The man who started off as an Assistant Director in the year 1997 has earlier served as Creative Director for many a production houses. And after a gap of nearly three years, Sachin donned the director’s hat again for the story of a psycho guy for the popular series.
We hear that the story and the manner in which it was to be shot motivated Sachin to direct the episodic. The best part of this story, which will be aired as a Diwali Special episode will be that it will only have three major characters, and about 95% of the shoot will be at a single location.
Intersting, isn’t it?
We called Sachin to know more about his directing experience and he said, “Yes, it is true that I took to direction after three years, the last being the presentation of Begusaraai. The story was what tickled me to direct it. It is the story of a psycho guy who believes that his mother is not dead. It is really an edge-of-the-seat story, and I am sure viewers will like it.”
The story will feature Rajesh Tripathi, the Script Head on board Life OK, playing the key role of the psycho. Dolphin Dwivedi will play his wife.
As for the story, we hear that the psycho will live a make-believe life wherein he will behave as the son as well as the mother. And since his mother would want him to get married, he will get his bride home, and will torture her in the avatar of her mother-in-law.
When contacted, Dolphin said, “Yes, this is a huge story in terms of the way it was shot. We had a great experience shooting with Sachin Sir. The story is really interesting and will have a lot of intrigue.”
This Diwali Special episode will air on 11 November, is what we hear.
