Arnav Bhasin, the multi-talented 16 years old who started acting in short films at the tender age of 12, will soon make his television debut with an episodic of Life OK’s Savdhan India.
Arnav, fondly called Arry by his friends, is an academically bright kid, who has a huge passion for sports and acting.
Acting started as a mere fun activity for Arry, when he took part in his brother Pranav Bhasin’s first short film ‘The Mistake’. This new phase in the siblings’ life has now grown big, with them having their own Youtube channel DLP (Dexterlab Productions) which has an international following. They have many short films, series and videos to their credit in the channel.
Arnav recently had a cameo role to play in TVF’s – Pitchers. And the boy’s short film ‘The Silly Sheep’ has been acknowledged and awarded in various festivals, including the first prize at the Reel Expressions in New York 2015.
In Savdhan, Arnav will play the role of an academic topper who will be treated as a mere trophy by his over-ambitious mother, which will lead to the boy going through a mental trauma, followed by committing suicide. We hear that the boy was very professional in his attitude, and has rendered a heart-wrenching performance.
As reported already by us, the episodic will also feature actors Ujjwal Chopra and Shraddha Kaul, playing his parents. This particular Savdhan story will air on 28 January.
Future in acting looks really promising for Arnav, as he will soon play the main lead in a web series, produced for a renowned India web channel. The series will be written and directed by Pranav Bhasin.
Way to go, Arry!!
