MUMBAI: The speculation as to who will finally bag the titular role in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show Dil Hi Toh Hai seems to have finally come to an end.
The show, which is touted to be a remake of the blockbuster film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham might see the comeback of Karan Kundra in the fiction space. Yes, post the reports of Omkar Kapoor dejecting the project to play the main lead, the makers are now in talks with dashing hunk.
Karan made his acting debut with Ekta Kapoor’s famous show Kitani Mohabbat Hai. He was also later seen in Balaji Telefilms’ Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum.
Karan has already signed MTV Love School season 3 along with his girlfriend and actor Anusha Dandekar.
Dil Hi Toh Hai will also mark the debut of Dus Ka Dum promo actor Yogita Bihani as the female protagonist. The project will also feature Farida Dadi, Akshay Dogra, Sudeepa Singh, Abhinav Kapoor and Bejoy Anand.
