MUMBAI: For the first time ever viewers will witness popular TV actors Karan Wahi and Pooja Gor getting paired-up for a project.
The debonair Karan and charming Pooja will be seen in a short film directed and written by Swati Semwal.
Swati is still remembered for her stint in Channel V’s The Serial. Along with acting, Swati has a knack for direction. Her short film is very unique and the subject has never been discussed before. In fact, the unique concept made the actors instantly give their nod to the venture.
Well, the film is about postpartum depression (PPD) – a mental health illness that affects women after giving birth. Pooja and Karan will play a couple and the film will showcase how the duo will deal with the disorder.
Pooja confirmed being part of the project. Karan remained unavailable to comment.
Swati shared, “The film is already been shot and it will be released in film festivals. The subject is very unique which people usually don’t prefer discussing.”
