MUMBAI: Actress Shweta Tripathi helped her Trip 2 co-star Amyra Dastur for her wedding look for the web-series.
“Shweta is definitely a ‘chuppa rustom’ (a dark horse) as we say. Meaning she’s got the best timing in terms of comeback jokes and some of her sarcastic statements have made me cry of laughter… In the second season of The Trip, my character is required to wear Mehendi and Shweta not only helped me design something quirky but also, kept feeding me as I could not use my hands for two hours, to ensure the Mehendi dried properly,” Amyra said in a statement.
Trip 2, which is being shot at Pudducherry, also stars Mallika Dua and Sapna Pabbi.
On the big screen, Amyra will soon be seen in Rajma Chawal, which also stars Anirudh Tanwar and Rishi Kapoor. It is directed by Leena Yadav and is slated to release on 31 August.
She also has two more films Prassthanam and Mental Hai Kya in her kitty.
