The blazing heat, those sexy shorts, seductive beaches, teeny-weeny bathing suits, and a deliciously bronzed skin sound amazing, but the heat can damage our skin beyond recognition.
Our television stars are not spared by the heat and damage either. Here they share some of their tried and tested skin care tips, which will help you stay fresh and tan-free. Have a look:
The only tip I would like to share is to drink lots of water and nariyal pani. Don’t forget to apply sun-screen before stepping out of the house.
Every season has its own flavour and so does summer. Drink minimum three liters of water daily. Before going to bed, make sure that you properly cleanse and tone your skin. Also, do not step out without applying sun-block.
Try to stay at home as much as possible to protect your skin from the heat. Moreover, try to drink at least six liters of water every day.
One should have green tea to stay cool. Eat healthy and light meals at regular intervals. I have totally abandoned coffee, which is my favourite beverage. Don’t forget to remove make up before hitting the sack.

Nothing comes close to drinking copious amount of water in the heat. Liquids of all kinds, watermelon, and cucumber are your friends. And as Baz Luhrmann puts it, ‘ladies and gentleman, wear sunscreen!’
I religiously use a good medicated moisturizer and SPF, before stepping out. Also, it’s refreshing to rub an ice cube on the face to stay cool and fresh.
