Zee has announced the third season of India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj, long after the second season which was on air on 2007. The show was first launched in 2004. “We wanted to get into the acting space again, and design a unique experience for our viewers so we have announced the auditions for it and will be travelling across the country. In fact, we’ve already finished the auditions in Amritsar and Dehradun,” confirms Namit Sharma, Programming Head of Zee. The previous season of the show had Anupam Kher, Pooja Bhatt and Madhur Bhandarkar as judges with Aman Verma presenting the show.
Sharma though, refuses to further divulge details on who’ll be judging the show this time around. Few television and film actors popular today also came into limelight through Cinestars Ki Khoj, for instance, Aditi Sharma (Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl) Ankita Lokhande (Pavitra Rishta) and Shraddha Arya (Tumhari Pakhi) among others.
