Star Plus launched the niche, ‘Meri Durga’ back in January and though the show may not be skyrocketing in TRP charts, it has managed to garner critical acclaim for its concept.
However, it certainly seems that the makers are planning for a big change as the show is witnessing multiple replacements.
Recently, actor Adhvik Mahajan replaced Vishal Bhardwaj and now the show will witness another replacement.
According to a leading news daily, actor Ankur Nayar will replace actor Rajesh Shringarpure in ‘Meri Durga’.
Rajesh plays the character of an athletic coach who will eventually be Durga’s (Ananya Agarwal) mentor and support system. The makers have redesigned the character to make it more charismatic and young. Hence comes in the replacement, Ankur Nayyar.
Ankur has portrayed an array of characters in the past where he was last seen as Indrajit in Star Plus’ mythological drama, ‘Siya Ke Ram.’
